Begin in Delhi, the vibrant capital of India. Continue deeper into the Thar Desert to Jaisalmer, an ancient city and former stop for silk and spice caravans. Stay at a luxury desert camp and spa, and enjoy activities such as a camel ride through the sand dunes, touring haveli mansions in the backstreets of Jaisalmer and visiting spectacular Jaisalmer Fort, a giant sandcastle-like fortified hill town that rises above the arid plains.
