Begin in Cusco, where you will be met and transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas (Urubamba Valley), a beautiful river valley below the high peaks of the Andes. During private touring with your own guide and driver, experience the best of the local culture, such as visits to indigenous markets and villages, meetings with renowned local weavers, and tours of outstanding pre-Inca and Inca archaeological sites such as Ollantaytambo. Also enjoy adventure activities customized to your interests and abilities, including options such as hiking, river rafting, mountain biking and horseback riding.

Next, embark on a deluxe four-day trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, one of South America’s greatest and most memorable adventures. Your private guide and porters will escort you on this spectacular hike through the Andes as you walk in the footsteps of the Inca, explore their fascinating structures, and take in stunning views of the mountains and jungle along the way. At the end of each day, enjoy gourmet cuisine, the services of a private masseuse to help soothe your muscles, and accommodation in deluxe tents. After arriving at Machu Picchu, explore the ruins with your private guide, and then spend one night at a lodge next to the site, which allows you to access the grounds in the early morning and late afternoon, when fewer tourists are present.

Then, ride the luxurious Hiram Bingham train to fascinating Cusco. Stay in an oxygenated room at one of the city’s finest and most historic hotels. During private touring with your guide, walk through Cusco’s narrow streets, and learn about the city’s Inca and Spanish history. Also visit markets, galleries, boutiques and artisan workshops according to your interests. On the final day, fly back to Lima where you will be assisted to the international terminal for your onward flight.
