This private tour of Norway combines the cultural highlights of Bergen with the extraordinary attractions around Sognefjord, including cruising two of Norway's most dramatic fjords, riding the renowned Flamsbana train and seeing the remarkable Borgund Stave Church.

Begin in Bergen, the gateway to Fjord Norway. With your private guide, ride the renowned Flamsbana train on one of the world's most scenic rail journeys through a glacier-carved valley past small farms, tumbling waterfalls and high peaks. Stay in the fjord-side village of Flam, surrounded by views of mountains, waterfalls and Aurlandsfjord.

One day, cruise the most spectacular sections of beautiful Sognefjord, including impressive Aurlandsfjord and breathtaking Naeroyfjord, the narrowest fjord in Norway and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also, enjoy a private excursion to visit Borgund Stave Church, one of the best-preserved medieval wooden churches in Norway, and see traditional Norwegian wooden houses in the village of Laerdal.

Transfer by private vehicle through the beautiful Naeroydalen Valley back to Bergen. During private touring in the historic port city, explore cultural highlights such as the picturesque Bryggen wharf district, a former Hanseatic trading post that's now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the bustling fish market, and tour the Hanseatic Museum and Schotstuene to learn about life in medieval Bergen.
