This introductory tour of Croatia features the highlights of Dubrovnik and Korcula, including private touring of historic sites, private food and wine touring, a private cruise in the Adriatic Sea and more.

Begin in Dubrovnik, a beautiful historic city overlooking the Adriatic Sea. With your expert private guide, explore the highlights of the Old City of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with medieval city walls, white limestone streets, and well-preserved Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Walk atop the ramparts, visit historic palaces and monasteries, and explore the most interesting neighborhoods and backstreets. Also browse for unique crafts, olive oil and other Croatian specialties at local shops. One afternoon, enjoy a private cooking class in the village home of a local family.

Next, cruise by private boat to the island of Korcula. En route, pass among the rural Elafiti (Elaphiti) Islands, stopping at small coves and beaches to swim in the Adriatic or walk through the fragrant forests of pine and cypress. On the island of Korcula, explore the narrow streets and small squares of medieval Korcula Town, which has Greek and Venetian roots. See architectural and cultural highlights such as the Marco Polo House and Cathedral of St. Mark. Also sample Grk and other Croatian wines at a local winery, and taste homemade jams, olive oils and other products at a farmhouse.

En route back to Dubrovnik for a night, tour the mountainous peninsula of Peljesac. Enjoy private wine tastings at local wineries, and meet a local oyster farmer and sample some fresh seafood. Also see the ancient salt pans and impressive city walls in the seaside village of Ston.

This tour can be further customized to include additional time in Croatia or neighboring countries such as Italy, Slovenia and Montenegro.
