Artisans of Leisure is always looking for extremely knowledgeable, sophisticated, well-traveled professionals to work in our New York City office.

Ideal applicants will have lived, worked, and/or traveled extensively in international destinations. Applicants should be familiar with the main cultural highlights of a wide range of countries in each region as well as be familiar with a variety of special-interest attractions and activities, including local arts, cuisine, history, customs, luxury hotels and resorts. Travel industry experience is not necessary. An ability to articulate your passion for cultural travel within these destinations is.

Marketing & Sales Associate

This creative position involves working directly with clients to customize private international tours; the position also includes strategic marketing, media relations and product development.

Requirements:
• Passion for cultural travel and deep understanding of what makes destinations unique
• Extensive experience traveling abroad in most of our destinations
• Vision, creativity and initiative
• Ability to relate to and understand the needs of high-end luxury travelers
• Confidence and proven leadership
• Outstanding communication skills
• Familiarity with luxury market and/or travel industry a plus
• Familiarity with the arts, cuisine, traditions, history, and culture in international destinations
• Extreme attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Filemaker a plus
• Prior sales experience preferred
