One of our favorite historic places for a private tour in Dubrovnik, Croatia, is the Franciscan Church and Monastery, a 14th-century complex that’s a microcosm of the city’s cultural and artistic heritage. The still-active monastery has a celebrated Romanesque cloister, an impressive library and one of the world’s oldest continuously operating pharmacies.
