A notable difference between Disneyland Paris and the parks in Orlando and Anaheim is the smaller scale, which makes it a manageable day excursion or overnight visit. Additionally, some of the rides and attractions are different from their counterparts in the United States. For instance, Phantom Manor is considered a scarier version of the classic Haunted Mansion, Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain is larger and faster than Space Mountain in the other theme parks, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril incorporates a runaway mine cart and Sleeping Beauty’s Castle is open for touring, complete with an animatronic dragon in the moat.
