On this culinary and eating tour of Thailand, learn Thai cooking and presentation techniques and prepare a variety of Thai dishes, including appetizers, entrees and desserts. Accompanied by expert instructors, shop for unique fruits, vegetables and spices in local outdoor food markets. Best of all, feast your way through your tour on specialties such as tom yam kung (hot and sour prawn soup), paw pia tord (spring rolls), gaeng phed ped yang (roast duck curry), pla nin laad prik bai horapa (fried fish with chili and basil), paneang neua (beef curried in sweet peanut sauce), mango with sticky rice, spicy Thai fruit salad and steamed banana cake.

It also features private sightseeing of the main cultural attractions in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, with a strong emphasis on local food markets and experiencing authentic cuisine in noted local restaurants. Note: cooking classes can be arranged at a variety of venues—including hotels, independent cooking schools, and private homes in urban and rural settings.
