Luxury Golf Tour of Ireland

(9 Days - Departs Daily on a Private Basis)
Dublin, Kildare, Kenmare, Adare, Doonbeg

This exclusive Ireland golf tour features the opportunity to play on Ireland’s most beautiful golf courses, as well as private touring of the island’s scenic and cultural highlights.

Upon arrival, enjoy introductory touring in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. See the historic highlights, marvel at the iconic Book of Kells (Artisans of Leisure will arrange fast-track access), and the Long Room in the Old Library at Trinity College, and tour St. Patrick’s Cathedral, one of the most important churches in Ireland. Walk in the footsteps of Irish literary giants such as James Joyce and Oscar Wilde in Georgian Dublin, a neighborhood of well-preserved architecture set around leafy St. Stephen’s Green. Also enjoy a privately guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse and free time to browse specialty shops, markets and the Creative District. Other options that can be incorporated into Dublin touring include specialty museums, contemporary art galleries, Kilmainham Gaol, distillery tours and the Chester Beatty Library.

Continue to The K Club Hotel & Resort, a luxurious golf resort in Kildare in the Irish countryside. Play a round of golf at one of the resort’s two Arnold Palmer-designed courses (one hosted the 2006 Ryder Cup). During time at leisure, if desired, enjoy the spa and other resort facilities, as well as activities such as falconry, fishing, horseback riding, archery, kayaking, clay pigeon shooting, biking and walking. Also enjoy the resort's superb dining options and beautiful grounds.

Next, transfer to Kenmare, a colorful village with Irish crafts shops, traditional pubs and prehistoric ruins. En route, opt to visit the stables and gardens at the Irish National Stud, stop at the medieval religious complex known as the Rock of Cashel, or explore the city of Cork and its English Market. One day, you will be transferred along the breathtaking Ring of Kerry to the Waterville Golf Links. Enjoy a challenging round of golf on one of Ireland’s most renowned links courses, taking in stunning views of the Iveragh Peninsula and its coastline.

Enjoy a private excursion on the spectacular Dingle Peninsula, taking in awe-inspiring views of the coastline and mountains. Explore ancient ring forts and other prehistoric sites, wander through quaint seaside towns, and perhaps have a traditional fish-and-chips lunch in the town of Dingle. Continue to Adare, a postcard-perfect village of thatched-roof houses and shops, and the beautiful Adare Manor hotel. One day, enjoy a round of golf at the Tom Fazio-designed Golf Course at Adare Manor, which reopened in 2018 with the latest technology.

Continue to a luxury hotel on the coast in Doonbeg and play the hotel’s course. Also enjoy roundtrip transfers to play a round of golf at the legendary Lahinch Golf Club, perhaps the most famous links course in Ireland.

Upon request, Artisans of Leisure can arrange additional experiences in Ireland, including family activities, genealogical research, hiking, golf, visits to whiskey distilleries, garden tours, decorative arts tours, religious heritage tours, and culinary and crafts lessons.

This tour can also be combined with a private golfing tour of Scotland.
