Istanbul
- Begin with comprehensive city touring in Istanbul with flexible touring tailored to your interests be they art, cuisine, history, architecture, religion, or shopping.
- Visit the city's beautiful palaces, mosques, and ancient underground cisterns.
- Take in Istanbul's café culture, and browse for carpets, jewelry, textiles, and culinary delights in the Grand Covered Bazaar.

Cappadocia, Ankara
- Visit the cave churches and vast underground cities in Cappadocia.
- Journey on to Ankara, Turkey's capital city, and visit the colorful old town district and renowned Anatolian Civilizations Museum.
Ephesus, Aphrodisias, Pamukkale
- Continue to Izmir, your base for exploring the ruins of Ephesus and Aphrodisias. In classical times, this region was a thriving metropolis that served as the center of the world's commerce, linking the Royal Road to Babylon with Mediterranean sea trade.
- Also visit the mineral pools in Pamukkale before returning to Istanbul for two nights in an elegant room overlooking the Bosphorus at the prestigious Ciragan Palace Hotel.

Cappadocia for touring: Göreme Open Air Museum, Pasabagi and Zelve,

Continue touring: Uçhisar,
Kaymakli and Derinkuyu, Soganli Village, and regional carpet and

Drive to Ankara, visiting
Seljukian Caravanserai Agzikarahan en route. Visit Ankara's old
town, the Anatolian Civilizations Museum, and the Mausoleum of Ataturk
before the flight to Izmir. Transfer and 2 nights at the Izmir Hilton.

Excursion
Touring: House of Virgin
Mary, Ephesus Antique City, St. John's Basilica, the temple of Artemis,
and the Ephesus Museum. There will also be a short visit to Kusadasi.
Return to the Izmir Hilton later this afternoon. (B,L) |

| Day 08 | Izmir
- Aphrodisias - Pamukkale - Istanbul
Touring to Pamukkale.
En route visit Aphrodisias, the museum, the Temple of Aphrodite,
the Theatre, the Stadium, the Agora, the Hadrian Baths, the Odeon,
and the Bishop's Palace. After lunch, continue to Pamukkale. Tour
the Necropolis, the Main Street and Gates, the Thermal Baths, the
Apollo Temple, and the Theatre. Late afternoon return to the Izmir
Airport for the flight to Istanbul, transfer to the Ciragan Palace
Hotel for a 2 night stay. (B,L) |
