This tour explores Yunnan, located in Southwestern China, where Tibetan, Laotian, Burmese, Vietnamese, Indian, and Chinese cultures converge.

Yunnan is known for its breathtaking scenery, incredible cuisine, and rich ethnic diversity.

With recent years witnessing great improvements in the region's roads, flight schedules, and hotels, Yunnan is now one of China's most enticing travel destinations for seasoned travelers.

• Being in Kunming, one of China's most interesting and pleasant cities.
  
  
• Tour the Old City, the University District, and the Bird & Flower Market.
  
  
• Continue north for several days in Dali and Lijiang, visiting small towns, Hilltribe markets, important temples and monasteries, and remote villages.
  
  
• Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge -- a deep canyon where the Yangtze River begins — en route to Zhongdian, a mountain town set high in the mountains bordering Tibet.
  
  
• Explore the town, its stunning landscape, the Tibetan community, and the Songzanlin Monastery, before flying back to Kunming for one more night.

Day 01	Arrive Kunming Arrival transfer to Harbor Plaza Hotel. Afternoon tour of Lake District, Old Town, University District, and the Bird & Flower Market.
Day 02	Kunming - Dali Morning flight to Dali to Dali Asia Star Hotel for overnight. Begin touring with morning visit to Xizhou Market and time to explore the town. Return to Dali and visit the Three Pagodas en route. Afternoon touring Old Town in Dali, with optional late afternoon cruise on the lake. (B)
Day 03	Dali - Lijiang Drive to Lijiang for 2 nights at Lijiang Grand Hotel. Afternoon visit to Baisha Village, Longquan (Dragon Spring Village), and the Museum of Naxi Culture. (B)
Day 04	Lijiang Visit Yuefeng Monastery and Black Dragon Pool. Afternoon at leisure to explore Lijiang independently. This evening attend performance of Naxi Orchestra. (B)
Day 05	Lijiang - Tiger Leaping Gorge - Zhongdian Drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge. Continue to Zhongdian for 2 nights at Gyalthang Dzong Hotel. (B)
Day 06	Zhongdian Touring of Songzanlin Monastery and local villages. (B)
Day 07	Zhongdian - Kunming Fly to Kunming to Harbor Plaza Hotel. Afternoon visit to Provincial Museum. (B)
Day 08	Depart Kunming At leisure until airport transfer. (B)
