This itinerary is highly recommended for travelers who want relaxation, soft adventure, and in-depth cultural touring in Bali and on the neighboring island of Java.
- Begin with several days of pure luxury and beachside relaxation at the Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay in Bali.
- Next, fly the short distance to Yogyakarta, a university town renowned
for its traditional arts, whitewashed villages, and close proximity
to Borobudur: the largest Buddhist sanctuary in the world.
- Relax in your luxury resort -- the Amanjiwo, which overlooks Borobudur
and is many travelers' favorite Aman resort.
- Opt to explore nearby temples and royal palaces and visit galleries selling paintings by leading local artists.
- Take an excursion to the beautiful Dieng Plateau, or perhaps ride an elephant through the nearby hills.
- Return to Bali for several days at the Four Seasons Sayan, located in Bali's interior near Ubud, a region renowned for its artists, galleries, cafes, shops, and traditional Balinese architecture.
