Experience Our Singapore

Our customized, private insider tours of Singapore feature our favorite places and experiences in the country.

Legendary...

Raffles Hotel has been a Singapore landmark since 1887. It continues to offer excellent service, beautiful rooms and grounds, and top restaurants such as the Tiffin Room, which we recommend for afternoon tea.

Quintessential Singapore...

A meal at one of the many hawker centers (food courts). Try local specialties such as Hainanese chicken rice, teh tarik (frothy “pulled” milk tea) and char kway teow (rice noodles stir fried with soy sauce, chili, shrimp and other ingredients).

Night lights...

The enormous plant-covered structures known as “Supertrees” in the Gardens by the Bay park are also filled with myriad lights that change colors, making a unique evening spectacle.

Did you know that...

Singapore is one of the only cities in the world with a rainforest within its city limits?

Unique meal...

A delicious vegetarian lunch in the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum.

Best view...

The SkyPark at the Marina Bay Sands complex has sweeping views over the city from its restaurants, bars and massive infinity pool. Consider having Artisans of Leisure arrange reservations for a meal with a spectacular backdrop at a highly regarded dining destination such as Sky on 57.

Morning exercise...

Walk part of the scenic Southern Ridges trail through parks and forests, or enjoy a private yoga session in the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Kids love...

Going on the acclaimed Night Safari at the Singapore Zoo, taking the cable car to Sentosa Island to spend the day at a beach or an amusement park, and riding the Singapore Flyer, a giant Ferris wheel.

Interesting cultural experience...

Learning about Peranakan culture with a stroll through the historic Joo Chiat neighborhood and a visit to the excellent Peranakan Museum.

Don’t miss...

A puja (prayer ritual) at Sri Veeramakaliamman, a Hindu temple in Little India.

Flora and fauna...

Stroll the magnificent grounds of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, including the National Orchid Garden. See ostriches, flamingoes, lorikeets, penguins and other species at the world-renowned Jurong Bird Park.

Best shopping...

Singapore is a shopper’s paradise, from the stylish boutiques in the backstreets of the historic Tiong Bahru neighborhood to the department stores and shopping malls of famous Orchard Road.

Favorite temple...

Worshippers flock to Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple, one of Singapore’s most popular Buddhist temples, to burn incense, pray to the Goddess of Mercy and learn their fortunes from divination sticks. It’s a colorful and lively experience.
